Physical Computing Kits
Current research suggests that physical computing is an important tool to engage learners and a strategy to develop their understanding in more creative ways.
We have a selection of kits available for use in your school classroom. The kits can be loaned out for a 6 week period for free. Please email us at teachcomputing@prioryacademies.co.uk for more information on how to borrow the kits. The loan form must be completed and sent in advance to secure a kit.

Crumble Kits contain class sets of 17 Crumbles and all the peripherals needed to complete the Year 5 - Programming A – Selection in physical computing unit from the Teach Computing Curriculum.
Micro:bit trays contain class sets of 17 micro:bits and all the peripherals needed to complete the Year 6 – Programming B – Sensing and Year 9 – Physical Computing units from the Teach Computing Curriculum.
The BeeBot class set includes 6 BeeBots with cables and a docking station with lead.
Data Loggers - EasySense Vu+ Primary Data Logger Pack contains 5 data loggers with integrated sensors, lanyards and plug-in temperature sensor and mini USB leads.
The Primary Lesson in a Box Kit contains 11 LAB:bit, 5 spoke wheels and tyres for the motor, BBC micro:bit per LAB:bit with case and microUSB cables.
The Robotics Lesson in a Box Kit contains 11 Kitronik Klip motor driver boards for BBC micro:bit, Kitronik TT motor boards, right angle guarded hobby TT motors, clips leads and ping pong ball for robot castor plus chassis templates.
Raspberry Pi Pico trays contain class sets of 10 Raspberry Pi Picos and all the peripherals needed to complete the KS4 – Physical computing project unit from the Teach Computing Curriculum.
Raspberry Pi 3B+ contains class sets of 10 Raspberry Pi 3B+ and Sense HATs.
