Python programming constructs: sequencing, selection & iteration for Pearson specification

Take your first steps to becoming a competent teacher of Python programming; this CPD will develop your foundational knowledge around the Python language. This course references the Pearson 9-1 GCSE Computer Science specification, using programming questions and solutions from their specification and sample materials.

Collaboration in KS3 programming

Drawing on the breadth of evidence and practice, you’ll become more confident in discussing a wider range of career paths with students, and linking real-world applications to classroom activities using code and multimedia. You’ll also plan how to embed collaboration into your curriculum through sequences of linked lessons, and how to assess teamwork and individual contributions in repeatable and time-efficient ways.

Solving computational problems in KS3 computing

This CPD takes a beginning-to-end view, modelling effective practice that is then rehearsed and practised - from finding suitable problems that are engaging; through supporting students to understand and tackle the problem; to coding and evaluating a solution.
