Careers
The Priory Academy LSST has statutory responsibility for securing access to independent and impartial careers guidance for all students. In the context of this duty, careers guidance consists of services and programmes intended to assist students to make and implement education, training and occupation choices and to learn how to manage their careers. Further information can be found using the menu on the left, this includes The Priory Federation of Academies Trust 'Careers Guidance Policy' and overviews for each year group.
The Priory Academy LSST measures the impact of our Careers Programme in multiple ways:

- Level of NEETs (Young people Not in Education, Employment or Training) - for 2024 there are two NEET from the Year 11 cohort (less than 0.5%) and 5 from Year 13.
- Student voice
- Feedback from the Pastoral Team and SEND Department
- Many of our Careers Events such as our Careers Fair and Work Experience placements are evaluated using input from a variety of stakeholders.
We are proud to have achieved the National Quality in Careers Standard through the Licensed Awarding Body Complete-Careers using the Career Mark approach.
